What about an electrical transformer on pole. Getting hit with one of them would ruin your day.

You mean like Swan’s anchor?

Electrical transformer is a neat idea. Might have to look and see if I can find something size compatible.

Yes, Swan’s anchor was a great deviation from the norm.

I was actually looking at some of my old Warhammer bitz, got the chain with a segment of wall attached to it that I was thinking might work, but I think the angles on the chain is all wrong. Might see about replacing the chain with some real chain at the same size to see how that would look.

From the Giant kit? I remember that.

On a related note, an uprooted tree could work.

I’m thinking of replacing the hydrant on mine with a railroad crossing sign - link my two hobbies into one. Thankfully I do model in O scale, so a lot of my railroad stuff can be used in games of Fallout.

Once my models are painted up, I’m actually going to do a battle report using my railroad layout as the battlefield. I think it’d make for an interesting theme.

Yep, from the Giant kit. The model actually had 4-5 options for what to use. There was that wall segment on chain, there was a tree with a bunch of swords driven through it to make a sort of mace, and a tree that was split and uses a headstone to make a makeshift axe. (Those are what I have left anyway. Can’t remember what else there was off hand.) The Giant hand is pretty close in size, so I was originally hoping for a simple hand swap, but the arm angle was all wrong for it. I might poke around some of my old Ogre weapons to see if there’s anything there that might work too.

Railroad sign would be a neat.

I can see many train yard themed games in your future.

So I’ve been away for a while, but I’ve got a ton of painted minis to show off. I’ll get them up on here asap.

Loving the flame paint job on that Atom Cat’s power armour, and the conversion of that Gatorclaw Matriarch! What was the base model for that?

Thanks.

The gatorclaw is made from a Lizardkin Deathscale by Minion Miniatures.

Tonight’s hobby time was spent priming my survivors, super mutants and the rest of my raiders ready for painting. As that’s boring to post about, I broke out my second Survivors core set and started hacking them up to bash together some NPCs for the RPG.

So we have an Atom Cats mechanic, a wounded settler, and a Commonwealth Regulator with a lever action rifle. The last one is for my buddy Ricky Steel as he’s a huge fan of westerns.

Next on the cards is turning Mama Murphy into a Raider Psycho.:rofl:

You weren’t kidding about having a ton of painted stuff to show off, this all looks great! Love the Atom Cats, the power armour and the repurposed raider models :+1:

Can’t wait to see Mama Murphy as a raider psycho

Today is a scenery day. Time to build a full town/settlement in a day. I’ve got three laser cut kits to build, for a total of eight structures.

First two structures are complete:
