So, I received my Fallout:Wasteland Warfare haul a few weeks ago and started painting. So far I have painted up two of the Supermutants:
Unfortuantely, I then wandered back into doing some terrain!
(Shotgun shack from 4Ground)
It’s not that there’s anything wrong with the fallout mini’s - there isn’t they are lovely sculpts! - I just find miniature painting a chore but I enjoy messing about with terrain! I’m hoping I can mix the two up and paint F:WW I have. Hopefully, even soon. Well, soonish anyway

Oh, and I’m calling this “wasteland wanderings” because it’s likely to be mostly scenery with the odd denizen added in.
Hopefully it’ll be interesting to people

Looking forward to how the terrain and other miniatures turn out!

More work on the Shotgun Shack this weekend and the basic building is now done. Made easier by it being pre-coloured and really just needing grubbying up!
Next job is work out what I want to add to the interior to make it look lived in. Hopefully I should be able to finish it this coming weekend

Looks really good, planning on adding any fixtures or furniture?

Thanks
That’s the plan. I think I’m going to see what I have for a chemistry workbench for the middle room. I’m sure I have some kitchen things and mattresses for the other two rooms. I don’t know what else, yet, I’ll see what I turn up in my bits!

If Big Mo produced Workshop and various workbench terrain pieces, I’d go all-in buying them. Feels like a chemistry work bench really would be perfect for your shack. Get some Buffout production going in there.

Luckily I’ve been buying random pieces of terrain and basing accessories for a couple of years. I think I have some bits that I can put together to make a chemistry station. We’ll see how well it works out

Look at tt combat they do a number of broken dressers and torn chairs as well as washing machines perfect for a post apocalyptic home.
Not yet found anything that could pass for the chem station though so we’ll have to hope something official comes out.

I have a few different bits that I think I can put together into a chem station, hopefully it’ll be close enough to be recognisable!
I have some TTCombat furniture and a building or two, wish I could buy some of their furniture individually instead of in multi-packs. If I need some chairs and sofa’s I don’t want to get a tramp in a sleeping bag every time
Yeah I get that but not many other options yet.

Please post pics of work benches this is something I want to see cause I really want them for the settlement mode and I would have to make them most likely:disappointed_relieved:
I’ll post up the chem workbench when I get it put together, this weekend. The plan is for it to be mostly odds and ends I have in my bits boxes.
I’ve used O Scale model railway stuff before for other workbenches though and have been more than happy with them.
I don’t have any unpainted pictures I’m afraid, the drill and lathe were metal and needed assembly, the rest was resin and single pieces. I can try and dig out links if you’re interested?

You could try https://www.hobbylinc.com/. They are in the US and stock some nice o scale train stuff. Some of it is a little pricey though.

Rusty Rail (linked above) are US based, I thought long and hard about ordering from them originally because of shipping and taxes. Worth it though! I’m sure there are a lot of others I don’t know.
To be honest I mostly order online, my local hobby shop isn’t that great
Thanks, I’m happy with how that turned out. Nice and simple too
