Official Product Wishlist Part II

Spurred on by something that came to mind on another post- Could we get some kind of standalone adventure printed anthology at some point? Possibly taking advantage of POD options from somewhere like drivethru? The completist part of my really wants these adventures on my shelf!

Obviously I know that demand would be a question, as would the required cost, but I’d really like something to sit next to my existing hard copies

Second. Actually, Pegasus, the German licensee for Shadowrun does this every other year or so, compiling several PDF-only publications. The books are all limited collector’s editions, yet there seems to be enough demand for at least this. They introduced this practice I think in Shadowrun 4, definetly did so in 5 and continue to do so in 6. That’s another hint for existing demand.

And there are far more English speaking gamers than German speaking gamers.

In no particular order:

32nd Century campaign guide (Discovery season 3 onward) I am dying to run a campaign in this setting but don’t have the time or talent to home brew it

Mission compendium volume 3 (and 4 and so on…absolutely loved Strange New Worlds and my players are having a blast with it, looking forward to These Are The Voyages as our next season)

Dominion War mission compendium (full out missions like These Are the Voyages but set in the Dominion War)

PDF character sheets in 22nd Century Enterprise and 32nd Century Discovery art styles

Daniel, I know you asked for ENT era character sheets, but if you need ENT era starship sheets (United Earth and 22nd Cent Romulan), I have a few fillable starship PDFs that you might find interesting for an Earth-Romulan War campaign. Reply here if you’re interested. (Too bad this forum doesn’t have PMs.)

But OMG yes, I’d love a Dominion War mission/story compendium also. Being a Niner, the Dominion War era is my favorite Star Trek era.

Haven’t been online in a while…have we heard anything about orginal series movie era resources, maybe combined with “The Lost Era”? Essentially material covering from The Motion Picture through just before Encounter at Farpoint? That’d be a fun playground, though I don’t know if there’s enough official detail if ine discounts sone realy good novels set in that time frame.

The following is not really a product wish but just something I believe would be great if it happens:

An STA gameplay stream with Will Wheaton either as GM or as one of the players.

One product I would love to have is a great index PDF:
Where to find races, talents, npc and ship frames in all the published books.
Of course updated with every release

Continuing Mission has something like that here. It includes both official and fanmade versions. Don’t know how often it gets updated, though.

Unfortunately it hasn’t been updated in a bit from my last check. Fortunately they do tend to mark new adds with appropriate names for the newer custom races they’ve been releasing.
An example would be Saurians who have a CM version of it but doesn’t list the addition from Discovery Campaign or Orion that lists Beta Quadrant but not the update from Shackleton.
They do have everything up to the 4 Quadrant books however so if it’s older material that should be available.

I would really like more setting and campaign books aimed at specific eras.
For example a campaign book which is set in the TOS era. That would be also a good place for missing TOS species and ships (I really mean TOS and not DIS oder SNW). A Vanguard sourcebook would also be nice.

An Enterprise or Rise of federation sourcebook would also be nice. You already have the mission briefs from growing pains, which could be added there.

I really liked that the is more memory beta stuff in the utopia planitia book. Building on this, I would really like to see a sourcebook concerning the memory beta events after the dominion war. The second borg incursion, destiny and typhon pact.

Lastly, this would lead to Star Trek online territory. I would really like a campaign book concerning Star Trek Online, the second Klingon war, the romulan republic, the Dyson sphere, the iconian war etc.

Thanks for providing us with such great content every year.
Best wishes,

What Dustin12 said. I like campaign books. TOS, TNG-Era, SNW (if and when Modiphius gets the license).
A time travel book would be great, too.

I’d love a Cardassian Empire Sourcebook like what we got for the Klingons.

Huh. I’d love some in-depth sourcebooks on major species, but I feel like the demand for Cardassian-based campaigns (in the style of Klingon-Empire-based campaigns) would be low. But maybe I’m wrong.

I’d also love to see the minor species get some love.

I’m pretty neutral about whether that takes the form of “big book of a bunch of major species” or “set of small books, one per species”. I suspect the sales/ROI would be better for the former, rather than the latter.

That’s a fair point, definitely could use some more hard focused lore though.

Here’s an idea that just occured to me when someone mentioned a Cardassian book, what about a book devoted to “inteligence” summerizing how starfleet intelligence works (are they spies or primarily analyists?) as well as detailing the intelligence agencies of each of the major powers. It would be intreasting to read HOW the Tal Shiar, Obsidian order etc actually WORK…
For the Obisian order section You could even have Garrik be the “author” and thus make it obvious it’s going to have a possiably unreliable narrator and proably make fans smile

No one knows how they really work since they’re all fictitious. We have some ideas from canon, and can certainly extrapolate best practices from real-world intelligence agencies and then imagine how they might operate in the 22-25th centuries (and 32nd century), though that will get into hazy canonical territory. I want to be careful how much stuff we’re creating whole cloth vs adapting from what’s known in canon and some secondary canon.

Almost feels like something that would be better suited for a lower-cost, lower-risk digital product than a big hardcover. It’s on my wishlist, anyway. LUG’s The First Line intelligence book was useful.

Can i reiterate wanting a sourcebook for the Kelvin timeline and for Romulan Gameplay? It would make my life a bit easier than having to reverse engineer stat cards for the romulan warbirds from the old style stat cards and then updating those spaceframes to the new UP style, and then adding in the role modifiers…

I think the lack of details is what made the various black organizations so effective in the Trek series. Of course that is little help for a GM running a game.

Apologies if it was already listed. I would love to see a ‘mechanics’ reference that listed all of the talents, tasks, etc. from all the material is a single document. Yes, I know it would need to be updated as new content is published, but it I’d buy updates.

You could always reference the free character builder app since the developer keeps that updated with character stuff every release.
