i have an idea on the mr handy fuel canisters just trying to figure out an reliable way to make the valve reproducible, i know i could 3d print somthing but i like to try and do things the old fashioned way as well just to keep things interesting these are the smallest i have been able to find so far but at an inch diameter they would be massively to big for this purpose

i think i may have saved that one but i have a feeling the fine detail on it will come out pritty rough looking but il put a couple on the go before i set out to work tomorrow

a little update on my painting so far, managed to get a bit of time to my self so managed to finish up two more mutants
and a group shot of my mutants done so far
these images haven’t picked up the details as well as i would have liked il try and get some better shots tomorrow

Looks like one of your Mutant Hounds is lighter color than the rest? Is that intentional, or is it just a trick of the lighting?
one is a little lighter but it does seem exaggerated on the group shot, its due trying a different highlighting technique on the first two to see which i preferred then changed it to look like the one i preferred with some slight variation
I was looking at the first wave card list last night and I noticed that the starter has “Mutant Hounds” and Hammer comes with a “Mutant Hound Fiend” so I was wondering if they had been painted differently to indicate that or something else.
I actually have a piece of chain I’m thinking about dirtying up and putting on a couple of mine as collars just for the visual variety on the table.
that sounds like a wicked idea ive seen people use small jewelers chain in other game systems to great effect i cant wait to see what you come up with
I did a Warhammer model quite some time back that involved a bit of chain, I picked up a length of stainless steel chain with really fine links. I need to go digging around but I know I still have quite a bit of it. I think a quick coat of gray followed by a brown wash will tarnish it up nicely.
Update: Just find it, got plenty of it for this and it must have got a little moisture in it so there’s already a lot of loss of shine.
Been a busy last few days, but got some time today to knock out a few more models.

while board at work i was browsing around various hobby sites and came across these beauties, to give my buildings more character and some needed grit other than dust your standard weathering
