Enclave will have to wait until next month for me. I just blew my gaming budget for the month. Got the Conan stuff coming (Have wanted to get into the Conan RPG for a while now.) from Modiphius and picked up a few things elsewhere as well. Mirelurks shipping next week pleases me greatly.
I’ve been hearing that they want to warehouse some of their product in the US to help with shipping times and such, anyone know if they’ve got that set up yet? If so, Mirelurks could potentially be here in a few days instead of a couple of weeks even.
I got some good news from my FLGS owner, the Overlord and Fist and Super Mutant Skirmishers I ordered way back when I ordered my Institute stuff from him arrived today. He went ahead and pre-ordered Maxson and Kells and the BOS Tech Knights box, they’ve been available on Modiphius’s site for a while, but Alliance…His Alliance rep was pointing out that the Overlord, Skirmishers, Maxson, and Tech Knight sets were still on “pre-order” at Miniaturesmarket when my store owner asked him nearly a month ago about it. Maybe Alliance will be shipping Maxson and the Tech Knights soon.
wittzo, Alliance received their stock of Maxson and Order of the Shield boxes on Thursday and will begin shipping them on Monday as they were doing physical inventory on Friday. I expect that your FLGS should have them soon as mine expects them on Tuesday.
Cool! Chris Birch said on facebook that the Enclave would be available a few weeks after the mirelurks shipped. People are starting to receive their mirelurk orders now, so if everything works out ok, the Enclave figures will be available in early September. They put a lot of the cards on the download page, but haven’t updated the points documents for the new units or items. They’ll probably do that next month.
It’s been two weeks and no word from Alliance about Maxson and the Tech Knights boxes. He doesn’t receive an order unless he’s ordered enough Dragonball Z, the odd paint or hobby product exclusive to Alliance (like Game Plus foam trays and bags) and Modiphius product to tip over the $200 shipping break. I assume he hasn’t had enough orders to reach the $200 free shipping threshold.
They made an exception with the Elder Scrolls Retailer Pack in July. Out of the blue, he received a package from Alliance and didn’t even know what it was until he opened it. His only reason to keep Alliance is their exclusive contract for the Dragonball Z CCG.
He’s continually stymied by Alliance’s inventory system where Alliance sends product to their other warehouses but if his warehouse is out of stock, they won’t shift product. He has to special order the product from the other warehouses and pay an unreasonable amount for shipping, they won’t count that toward his $200. They also won’t allow him to order $200 worth of product if that product is in his assigned warehouse.
