the playtest group you sign up with you choose who they are and you all are bound by an NDA
Any updates on bringing Liberty Prime online?
BUMP
Looks like the Skyrim Dragon is still waiting for itās rules if the website is accurate.
Will be interesting to see which one gets its rules firstā¦
Dragon rules are in playtesting forums for what itās worth. Still likely to be some time before general release.
Sorry, just to clarifyā¦
The Dragon Rules are in the playtesting forums⦠what about the Liberty Prime ones - are they there also?
āStill likely to be some time before general release.ā
For the Dragon Rules or Liberty Prime?
Dragon rules are in Playtesting Forum. I wouldnāt know about LP.
(Normally wouldnāt mention it given NDA etc. but the Dragon being in there was made public by the Devs).
The Prime ruleset is now locked for dev and is moving through editing, layout and approval.
Weāll have more as it nears release.
Do you know when (if) the Liberty Prime model is coming back into stock?
Iām keen to spend my money on something awesome!
We have done a restock, let me check to see whatās going on there. But yes, it will be an ongoing product.
Restock has been a success. My Liberty Prime arrived today (as did my Mirelurk Queen, but thatās a whole other thread)
Very small gap on the edge of the base from a mold bubble but the sculpt is amazing. Itās huge!
Happy days!
I wanna see a picture of the two facing off
Itāll be a while. Iām not a fast builder/painter
One thing I would recommend, pin the model. Itās huge, itās a bit top heavy, and pinning it is going to add a lot of stability to it.
Thanks for the advice. Iāve been cleaning the mould lines gradually this week and I have three videos on how to pin resin minis in my YouTube watch list
Iāve done very little pinning in the past, but this one I figured was a must. I put two in each foot. One in each hip, three where the torso meets the lower half, one in each arm and two to pin the head. Be careful with the hip joints, thatās the one place I had a little trouble because of the size. Just not as much surface area to work with as other parts of the model.
TbH, Liberty Prime could work great in the 2D20 reeanacting bringing him up to speed, and then just use him as an end level thing, either against players or against their enemies.
The only other scenario I can see working for him would be basically him walking a road and the player clearing that up of traps etc for him. Kind of a moving road map like in some racing games, there you place a tile in the direction the game is moving and removing the oldest tile on the other end.
This could actually work in different ways, opposing meaning trying to lure him away into a different direction, this could even work with several player with opposing goals, making sure he reaches a target, a different target or walks into a trap, the sea something like that.
I cannot fathom working a scenario there players actually use or fight against him.
I may work on something once I have mine painted up and build up.
Very new to FOWW but old school gamer, home brew his stats, you could google fallout wiki get his damage/armour numbers & equate them to nearest & use those? Itd be homebrew so would have to be agree with your competitor but you might just wanna have him stomp you both & thatd balance out
@Modiphius-Jon So it has been nearly three months since the rules were done with the development stage and just moving into layout, etc. Seems to be quite a long time. So any update on when we will actually see the material?
Hopefully weāll see something in the next three months, given that when October starts, it will be
TWO YEARS
since Liberty Prime shipped.
The rules were submitted for approval in May.
Due to E3 Bethesda have been tied up so there are a few rules/text heavy items such as Prime that havenāt made their way through the system yet and without the greenlight from them we cannot release.
Hopefully we will get a flood of approvals in the future and Prime will get their time to shine on the battlefield.
