Synopsis: The USS Enterprise has received a distress signal from a remote research outpost on a planet in the Neutral Zone. The crew must find a way to contain the outbreak and prevent it from spreading to the Enterprise, while also uncovering the source of the pathogen and discovering who or what might have unleashed it on the outpost.
