Really glad you like House Nagara.
I’m tempted to add a fuller write up, but its tricky as we also designed them so people can make them their own.
We are hoping to do a BG book but its a little caught up in the new series, but the Tleilax are one of my favourites so I tend to work them in where I can
We are planning to hit the other eras sometime in some form. We’re already moving from Imperium to Muad’Dib, although they are easier to work with as they are actually quite similar. What we don’t want to do is produce adventures you can only use if you happen to be playing in the right era.
Either way, there is plenty more we can do!
Please do the Heretics/Chapterhouse/Scattering book soon!
You can call it “Fate of the Million Planets” (and yes, go ahead and steal that)
I know it’s a tall order… but I would gladly pay for Foundry modules. My players can’t install Fantasy Ground for several reasons, and Roll20 is just outdated.
Now that Dune Prophecy has started to air, I’m hoping the flood gates open and we start getting some news about future books for the game.
I’d like to see Dune RPG factor in the lore, technology, capabilities and everything else associated with the recent HBO series. Some cool stuff in this series (only 2 shows in), that could be interesting to see in the RPG.
Recently stocked up on the dune releases so far. My compliments to the design team for a great looking game with a stunning presentation. I came onto the forum looking for a release schedule and found this thread instead.
My two penneth…
Stick to the Era of the first three books for now. God Emperor, heretics and the Jihad eras might make fun sourcebooks for later, but i"d like to see the core trilogy remain the focus. As others have said, the background is so rich theres still plenty to go around. I love what you did with fall of the imperium and eventually a second book highlighting the dune universe once the jihad is done and Alia is ruling as regent would be very welcome!
Books I’d like to see?
I’ll add my voice to the call for a book on Underworld and smugglers. A book on terrestrial crime syndicates: how they differ depending on where they are, how they factor in conflicts and alliances, both with each other and the other factions of the imperium. Also a section if not a whole book on Smugglers, getting around without the guild, or in it’s shadow with the appropriate bribes to avoid those pesky ‘imperial entanglements’.
A World Builders Book. the charts in the exisitng books are quick and fun, but it would be very cool to have a book that gave a much expanded set of tables to roll from or be inspired by along with a plethora of examples ready made.
Assassins or Kanly book - it’s such a strong theme in the first book, yes totally I’d love to see this - and chock full of assets of all types to use as pawns on the board.
Faction books - starting with the BG of course, but then Mentats and Spacing Guild - I’m happy with the existing books handling of the noble estates already, not feeling the need for a splat book for each noble house.
Outsiders - a book for Ix and Bene Tleilax.
I think that’d make be pretty happy!
Best

At this point I think I’d appreciate (if that is reasonable and possible) to get confirmation that the game is still being expanded and developed. There has been a lot of silence on this thread and for a long time. I know the BG book hold up explanation but I was hoping at least for some comment on other things in development or at the very least that development is still actively happening period. I’d like it if Modiphius could please comment here and reassure us that the game is still alive if possible. I hope it is.
Yeah, it’d be wonderful to get some kind of confirmation that the Dune RPG is still moving forward.
I also wanted to know if They Stopped the Moving Sands…
It really would. Even if they can’t give any specifics (totally understandable when dealing with a licensed product), it would be nice to hear something as simple as “we have some fantastic new Dune materials in the pipeline. We can’t say more than that because we’re working with the amazing people from the Herbert estate to get it all as perfect as we can. We promise it’ll be worth the wait.”
