Maybe a little. 
I’ve bought multiple starters because starter sets tend to be the cheapest way to build up a lot of models cheaply (And I’ve found some really fantastic sales.) I have seven starters, I have two starters in the closet for my kids when they’re just a little older that I swiped the aliens from, I gave a friend a starter after raiding it for one, and the gentleman I play with tossed a couple my way that he wasn’t going to use. I never intended to have so many, but I’m not complaining either.
My plan has always been to do a scenario built around several of them. I’ve actually looked up as much information as I can find in the hopes of some inspiration when it comes to painting them. I intend to do about half of them in the color scheme you used. One will have the gold jumpsuit like the Captain in Fallout 3, and the rest will receive the red Worker jumpsuit. That should give some visual variety at least.
Also pretty excited about the crashed UFO to go with them.

I had always hoped it would really take off in my area and I’d be able to do something similar, and pick up some unwanted strays here and there from people that didn’t want the mini.
The intent was always to run a squad or A.I. group of just them. Mostly because I thought it would be fun/funny.
I eagerly await you completing your scenario, so I can see what you come up with. And perhaps live a little vicariously. Lol

In case anyone thought I’d forgotten my building project, here’s an update!
It’d definitely taken a back seat for a while, but I’ve had a burst of energy to work on it lately and made a fair bit of progress. Got the back wall attached, made a roof (that can be slotted on or off), and have started working on the interior 
It’s difficult to see, but the areas marked with black ink were marking out lines to engrave patterns on to, for things like doors and wooden side panels

So I’ve been working a bit more on the building, but with the release of Nick Valentine, a 20% discount code, and an excuse to spend time modelling, I thought I’d treat myself to an unusually large purchase. If anyone has any questions about any of the minis, or would like me to do a ‘review’ type post going through them I’d be happy to, but otherwise don’t want to spam too much

Finished up the chryslus corvega Not my best painting, but not bad I think, and good enough to get it on the table. Main thing I wanted to try with it was painting reflections on the window, to see if it would look any better than the black windows on the studio model

These look excellent! The job on the rust is absolutely perfect.
I quitr like the reflection, reminds me of an Australian wasteland, straight out of Mad Max!
I’ll be looking to do something similar to mine, did you use any washes perchance or just base colours and then applied rust effects?

No washes in this case, since on larger surfaces I’ve found they tend to pool and not work so well. For the rust I used a bit of sponge (torn off from a regular dish sponge) dipped in different shades of brown (ranging from dark brown, to quite a bright almost orange brown) that was then wiped on a paper towel until there was almost no paint left. Some areas were lightly dabbed, but mostly I stroked it against the surface in a particular direction to get the desired streak effects

I like it! Your windows I better reflect the process of glass hydration which create a “foggy” semi-transparent surface and which should be evident on 200 years old windows.

Finished the first of my Synths! These were really beautiful models, they had so much detail on them. I also loved the colours on them in game (Fallout 4’s colour palette in general was amazing I thought), so hopefully I’ve done these miniatures justice

I agree, the color sceme of Fallout 4 is fantastic. It’s really stands out among other video games nowaday and it’s certainly an upgrade on Fallout 3s murky filters.
Your synths represent that and you really made all that detail on them stand out, because it’s painted so cleanly!
