Oh man, that sucks. That’s something that would definitely get me to part with my money, uh, latinum.
Thinking of it…I’m not sure there much cut out. Maybe you could do an expansion to it. You wouldn’t need to spend as much time covering the factions etc, maybe a slight update. Do an epic storyline for the saga missions, maybe a few briefs. Possibly add a little more to system generation, although there is plenty there already.
I have a Shackleton digital supplement on my wish list. Now that Lower Decks and Picard have expanded the timeline beyond Nemesis to some degree of clarity, there’s that whole chunk of 2379-2401 that’s open season for expanding the Shackleton campaign/Tilikaal storyline another 22 years.
We provided a taste of that with some of the mission briefs and plot hooks in the book, but I think it’s ripe ground for an expansion and some possibilities. Just have to see if I can get it greenlit and, if then, added to the development schedule.
To be honest, I think that’s the next thing I’d really like. For a while now, the books have been fairly niche, but something like that would really appeal.
On a sidenote: In this interesting video* (check it out!) it is mentioned that Modiphius at a point in time about 3 months ago did not had obtained the license for SNW (yet).
I truly hope that this will change.
Just as a sidenote: With “Synthetic Diplomacy”, the first adventure explicitly set in the PIC era has been released. So, it’s reasonable to expect more content around PIC.
(Yes, there has been “Children of the Wolf” which can argueably tied to both TNG and PIC, but that one was layouted as a TNG adventure while “Synthetic Diplomacy”, at least on the cover, uses PIC layout.)
I wonder whether there will be more Klingon-centered stand-alones, now with the core rules being the same for all kinds of groups. And I wonder whether, if they will continue to be published, they will be accompanied by adventures centered on other polities like the Romulans, or the Cardassians.
