I would guess that only items shown “on screen” (tv, movies) are included in the license. So species from the novels might be difficult.
The roles you mentioned would be interesting indeed.
And as far as settings go: I hope for an entire book dedicated to time travel.
Well, the Brikar, at least, are progressing to on-screen species thanks to Prodigy. Of course, Modiphius would need to get the license for Prodigy, but it’s a step in the right direction.
The Red Alert combat isn’t 100% grid and is more zone as what is indicated as you can run into situations where weapons have unrealistic ranges when you look at how big those zones are when examine the tiles and note furniture, doors, etc and use them to determine how big of space each one is using. Something more tactical would be nicer or some optional rules on weapon ranges. (I was going to do a long post on this at some point as I’vee been looking at ranges in 2d20 games very closely in the past few weeks.)
Also, will it cover different phasers and phasers in more detail. Movie-era have less settings and the rifles in DS9, with the front grip, have different settings than the normal TNG ones for example.
You won’t see new species, but you’ll see a lot of that other stuff.
Ah damm I was hoping seeing more aliens species.

I totally agree. I tried the same thing, and also added several new weapon qualities.
See in the file below.
Is there a release date on the Players and GM guide?
The blog mentioned Chrismas season release.
I presume you mean November to early January or just december?
And when will the Shackleton Expanse Campaign Guide be released?
While I love the DTF files, I’ll also take the PDF files, especially given Modiphius glorious “dish out all the PDF”-policy. Hope that these are not affected by global shipping challenges, or, fare worse, missed deadlines.
