Looking Good! I like the cars in the tray too…really need to find some good car models to wreck!
looks good i could easily see the lion as some wild wasteland type encounter
A truely terrifying crossover
Thank you for the additional images! The first pictures you took didn’t do your models justice. Love the detail work on the Deathclaw, looks good.
Hello,
To create the interior of a Vault-Tech shelter, there is also the company MultiverseGamingTerrain. They are 28-30 mm scale with movable doors.

“from the other side of the Channel ”
good call on the multiverse gaming stuff looks nice and reasonably priced to boot
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make brain fungus, glowing mushrooms or blood leaf? Ive already sorted hub flowers
Could always try making some from Green Stuff (modelling putty)?
yhea as mushinwolf said i greenstuff might be doable roll it into a blob shape and when it is semicured so it can be carved easier start shaping semi random shapes into it with a sewing needle or something with equally as fine a point to it
Check places like Hobby Lobby and Michels some times in the fall they have weird stuff for Halloween. I managed to find scale pumpkins in some fall Potpourri. I imagine tiny brains is something that could be findable? What did you use for the hub flower?
I’d also like to know what you did for the hubflower. Did you just find some model flowers and paint them blue?
my idea for brain fungus was greenstuff, rolled in to a long thin sausage shape and then wrap it around it’s self in a ball. Then when half cured cut in half.
its the flowers off that long thick grass you find around water and in bogs. i dried them out and dipped them in watered down mod podge to set them. then painted them blue
Due to Modiphius Fallout, I’m back to modeling and miniatures after 30+ years. I’m trying to find out how to print miniature graphics for posters and magazines. I’ve watched a Youtube videos on making decals and papers ink-jet transfers, but I can’t find anyone with a tutorial on shrinking and maintaining visual acuity of tiny graphics. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be grateful.
My scratch-build playable diorama ideas include:
- Broken bridge/overpass w billboard
- Sewer pipe/drainage access
- Subway tunnel with operator rooms and possible vault door
- Drumlin or Dots Diner
- Starlight Drive-In
- Slocum Joe’s
- Sanctuary
- Church
- Mirelurk swamp (w lighthouse?)
- General Atomics Robotics center
- Nuclear waste disposal yard/building
- Raider house/base
- Power building & wire tower
- Satellite dish tower
- Washington Monument
- Beach-side resort
- Behemoth home
Will start with a 2 ft. or 3 ft. square base and see how it goes.
Some great ideas! I’m planning on doing a lotbif scenery on bigger boards too.
How about a prison or a National Guard depot?
@marthos for mine like the bill boards in my wip terrain post i just used a normal ink jet, scaled the image down the the dimensions i needed spread some pva glue all over the back of it pressed it flat against the surface i wanted it to go (in my case it was painted MDF but plastic will work just as well), smooth it out with the same brush to make sure there where no air bubbles or anything that would cause problems later on, went over the rest of the paper so all of it was covered left it over night to dry, (this part is optional depending on the look you want, hit it with a brown wash to blend it in with the terrain) then once that is all dry and i am happy with the result i then gave it a coat of spray gloss varnish, then another coat of matt varnish to get rid of the shine. for the varnish stage i recommend trying it on a scrap piece if you haven’t used it before to make sure there are no problems with it.
if you need any other pointers with it il try and write up a more detailed walk though with pictures in the morning
Edit link to a collection of posters and billboards i have collected Here
Double Edit
a bit more indepth with some pictures
first finish painting/weathering the terrain you want to put your posters on
print out the posters you want to use on a normal printer use the scaling option in your image editing software of your chosing to get them to the size you want
cut them out of course trimming any blank spots as some of the posters pulled from the game have areas that are transparent so they will just show up as the colour of the paper
next rough them up a little bit to give them some character maybe tear some of them as well
then cover the back of the poster in watered down PVA
place them as desired on your terrain then give them another coat of pva to seal them down
at this stage they will look glossy but once they have dried they will go dull again
here are some previous experiments before committing the idea to my terrain
in regards to my previous post about plants in the wasteland i found using black pepper corns is perfect for brain fungus!
thats a good idea fridgekid
The TTCombat scenery is great. I ordered their billboards, ruined drive thru and ruined gas station for random scenery, plus their swimming pool to make that Ghoul settlement from Fallout 4
For those who are put off by the idea of having to paint them, there are lots of model railroad/railway scenery companies out there that make paper texture sheets you download and print out.
I’m going to have a go at printing some and simply sticking them to the TTCombat buildings before I assemble them.
One example is a company called Clevermodels. Another is Scalescenes.
This is some really good alternatives thanks for the ideas homie
