Real quick question.
Does anyone know the min amount of players for the starter set, a star beyond the stars?
Probably two including you, unless you want to play with yourself. 
Jokes aside: I’d say two or three players plus GM sounds like a good minimum. The Starter Set includes five pre-generated player characters. For a sixth player character, I’d recommend to also download the (free!) digital quick start rules.
The set should be playable with any amount of players, yet 3–6 seems a reasonable number, in my opinion.
