Mugs's Miniature Thread

Very nice! But those might be the blondest eyebrows I’ve ever seen.

I don’t paint eyebrows at this scale. They never look right. It’s just a flesh tone highlight above the eyes

Looks good! Nice clean lines, and brilliant detail on the bases

Looking good! :+1:

Lovely attention to detail on the laser rifles, and the sinewy muscles on the super mutants!

The power of dogmeat. I make a point of having each dogmeat painted slightly different as if each is a different gsd

I really like the pattern on the bandana around his neck!

Thanks  picture doesn’t show it too well but it’s basically teardrops and s shapes. It’s similar to the game one but a lot less fine. My brush is only so thin haha!

I think everyone who attempts freehand wishes for finer brushes, but your results are still impressive! As is the highlighting on Garvey’s coat

Thanks. I think I brought out the 00 for the fine detail work on this!

I did discover a company called rosemary and co. They make professional standard sable water colour brushes. Their series 33 are on par with w&n series 7 ( I own both ) but cost about £5 a brush

Ooh, that’s useful to know. I currently use w&n series 7, but I’ll have to check out that other company!

Of course she does! She’s a cranky old spitfire, and that’s why we love her.
