To my knowledge these are the first pictures of painted wave 2 minis that have come out, thought everyone here would enjoy them
Cool! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous! Bring on wave 2, my wallet is ready!
My wallet has started quietly sobbing, so I probably wouldn’t go that far
Yeah, my wallet cries a little at the thought of the next wave too, . . .but I’ve been trying to squirrel away a bit of money each month for a while now. I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.
Same here, been putting a bit on the side each month since my wave 1 minis arrived. Hoping to get at least the glowing ones and one of the smaller scenery sets!
Until then I’ve got a couple more wave 1 figures that need painting before they’re ready for the tabletop, so still got something to keep me busy for now!
I’m hoping I have enough for two of everything (Only one of Uniques), plus an third set of the Raiders if I’ve got enough.
I’ve got a lot of stuff for Wave 1 to paint. I’ve started quite a bit of it, but don’t have anything I would consider complete yet. I just put a nice shiny silver coat on all my power armor models and it’s pretty likely I’ll be working on those further in the coming days Also have a bunch of Nuka Cola machines I need to get one more coat of red onto before I can continue with those.
Pretty exciting stuff, I hope that these images are just the start of what we’ll be seeing in the coming days and weeks. Would also love to see a finalized list of what they are planning to release with Wave 2 even if we don’t get a firm release date until they are ready to start selling them.
I still only have the starter and the red rocket. So while I’m excited about wave 2, I still have ALOT of catching up to do.
Hoping this will help wave 1 items stay in stock better, so I can get some of the faction sets. Seems silly to me to get the smaller ones without getting the big ones too.
I chose to get a few of the smaller sets instead of a red rocket (ghouls, Boston Companions, and BOS Frontline Knights), but yeah I don’t have any of the faction core sets either yet. I’m mostly getting a little of as many factions as I can, so I can try them out before settling on a faction to get the core set of
It’d be amazing to see a collection the size of yours (or even just one of your armies) when it’s fully painted!
I tend to be pretty slow about painting and basing my models, but it will happen eventually. I just wish I had more time to work on hobbies.
Haha, don’t we all!
I’d be happy to help!!
For every two sets you send me, I’ll send you one back painted!
I think I’ll pass on your generous offer.
Honestly, I don’t mind doing the painting too much, I just need to find the time to do it. And I have two sons who I’m teaching to paint, so I’m hoping to be able to bribe them at a better exchange rate than that when they’re a few years older.
Hey it was worth a shot. Lol
My kids show interest in painting up until it’s time to actually paint. Then they suddenly decide that something…anything else is more important. So enjoy passing the knowledge and skills down to the next generation.
I figure I’ll treat it as “I’ll buy four of these, you paint three sets for me, keep the last one for youself” and if they can’t keep up, I stop buying new goodies for them until they do. In the meantime, I keep plugging away too and it should at least save me SOME work.
I’d take that deal, but only for certain minis - Mutant hounds, robots, creatures, cars, furniture. Detailed characters take me WAY too long to to paint.
