Ulricsons Fallout Escalation

Good point! I already have an idea how to build some, thanks for the input!

Not that replicating the plants is easy but I’m sure you could do it, I’m inspired seeing your stuff and the work of others on the forums.

Fantastic work, sir!

I also had the same idea with the Tarberry farm when I saw that TTCombat pool. I’ve got a kit sitting on my workbench waiting for me to get started on it!

After a long break (I was hyped for Warhammer 40k again) here’s some new Scenery.
Models by Mulitverse Gaming Terrain. Great LOS-Blocker

And here are some detailshots of the backs of each one.

Nice work

The Poseidon Energy depot in your post on Sept 28, you mentioned it’s by a manufacturer called Tactical Terrain. Do you have a link to their website at all please?

I’ve googled it but come up with nothing :frowning:

Thanks,
Dan

Looks like the company doesn’t exist anymore. But there are some kits out there in Tabletop-Onlineshops: https://www.fantasywelt.de/Tactical-Terrains

After a long break I will finaly start my FWW-projekt again. The reason why I didn’t post anything new was that I just got frustrated because my ordered Resin-Base-Game didn’t got shipped.

Winning the “Spirit of fallout”-price at the Modiphius-FWW-Scenery-Contest got me a motivation-boost and I ordered all missing items from them directly and canceld my old order. All the sets I wanted are finaly here and now I can start painting the minis.

I recently played some games with the PVC-Base-Set I bought from a local retailer. I think FWW is the most complex tabletop I’ve ever played  Rules seem pretty overwhelming at first, but after a few games I just forgot about 25% of the rules not 50% anymore  So I’m on a good way.

Here’s a pile of Supermutants getting cleaned up

Glad to see you’re back! Looking forward to seeing those Super Mutants fully painted

The rules certainly have a bit of a learning curve, but I think it’s my favourite system so far personally. Just need to get a bit more practice

Welcome back! look forward to seeing what comes next! :+1:

Started painting my Supermutants and decided to apply yellow skin like Fallout 3. Looks more natural to me and fits my reddish bases batter than green.

WIP Supermutants. Agrax Earthshade followed. This evening I hope to finish them. Bases are still missing but they are not that complicated with an airbrush :ok_hand:

Looking forward to seeing them with bases!

Bases are painted, oliwash is drying.

What paints do you use for the wash?

  • Burnt Umber olipaint from an artist-store, no specific brand - something cheap, about 3€.
  • Terpentin-substitute (doesn’t smell)
Mixed these two together to get a brown oilwash.

For some specific Items and concrete I used Nuln Oil and Agrax Earthshade from GW

Ah cool, I’ll have to try that!

Oilwash if far more cheap than “original” wash, expecially for terrain. You can create 1litre of Oilwash for under €15.

Oh wow, that is cheap! I currently mostly use citadel washes, which are €6.30 per pot

Supermutants close to be finished!

Finally finished my Supermutants. The black markings on the back of the green Hounds looks awful, have to do something about it.
Will do some fancy shots with scenery until weekend.
