Multiple stuns from the Hack Robot perk

The Hack Robot perk applies two stun tokens to a robot on success, however, the rulebook states that the same status can’t be applied to a model more than once, which was backed up here: Stun Questions - Stun Baton, Blade of the East, Etc - #4 by Modiphius-Dom. Is this just a case of rules on the cards overriding the main rules?

That’s right. Every game has small exceptions and this is one of them here - the two Stuns are indeed placed here.
