Modiphius' Map of Hyboria

I apologize if this was already discussed on the forum but did anyone notice the map of hyboria from Modiphius is different than ones previously released?

My group and I just came across one major difference, involving the placement of the Zaporoska river, which in older versions is east of the Vilayet sea (rather than west) . I suspect there are other differences as well and wonder why that would be… Were older maps really that ‘wrong’?

Curious.

i don’t remember exact thread title, but i qureried this previously. you might want to do a search for past threads to find your answer, with detail.

My understanding is the development team did their own research from REH materials and so may have come to some different conclusions than previous sources, pastiche etc.
