They can’t remove the files that people downloaded already from the store

It is historical fiction. Howard specifically designed Conan’s world to be familiar enough to various centuries 1300-2500 years ago but different enough to not get nagged by historians. The national bigotries of his age are just as potent as Europe’s a century ago and Asia’s today.
There’s only one story where Howard makes Conan’s personal prejudices about skin color-- and those are really the leading lady’s prejudices. In each of the others, he treats everyone as either a threat, a target, an innocent, an equal, or someone to be protected. It’s hard to call that racism. The irony of Conan is that he’s a savage who teaches civilization to be fair.

Agreed; and the irony is that actual Asians don’t care; it’s white people who feel they’re somehow protecting the exploited.

Is there any news on the release date.
I am so frustrated with the lack of communication from MODIPHIUS. I’ve been desperately seeking a reply in another thread I started (timeline for printed books) for months now. No luck whatsoever.
I’ve also sent an email to MODIPHIUS customer service with the same question. No anger or frustration in the tone ; quite the opposite in fact, singing the praise of the product line and, like many here, simply eager to complete the collection! … And still nothing…
I fully realize COVID is still amongst us and making like miserable for businesses, MODIPHIUS included. But the lack of any communication is really frustrating.
Consider me deflated (not that it matters to anyone I suppose).

I’ve actually had really good experiences with the Modiphius staff when I’ve emailed with problems in the past. That said, right now I’m under the impression that they’re working with VERY minimal staff at the moment. I do agree that keeping enough people on staff to effectively keep up with emails is something they should be doing.
I hope someone replies to you soon, I know how frustrating it can be dealing with unresponsive support from experiences with other vendors. Best of luck with getting the help you need.

Yeah, they’re obviously delayed by Covid, which may be impacting the physical production but a response would be nice. We delayed starting a Conan campaign because we are waiting for all those books to come out. Now it’s looking like that delay will go into next year…
At least it’s allowing me to wrap up a couple other things before turning to Conan.
The only benefit of delaying the Conan product line is that I can accumulate enough to buy them outright when they appear in print and catch up with existing work in my Conan 2d20 realm in Realm Works.

The KICKSTARTER post is rather cryptic when it comes to non-backers (i.e. the ‘general market’) ; it also does not speak to the other supplements only available as PDFs.
I am soooo very disappointed in the lack of clear communication. Between that, and finding out about the ultra-sensitive editing ‘the wanderer’ has recently undergone, my stock in MODIPHIUS is dropping fast…
