Here he is with rusted gun and matte varnish.
Took some of the shine off which is good. I plan to paint another test today with lighter skin and maybe grey armour.
He looks really good.
A couple of possible techniques for the next one are use a lighter green base and then do a number of washes with browns and black to shade it. Paint the armour a colour. Super mutants tend to repurpose things into armour. Then sponge lightly dark brown, orange and metal to give the lived in look.
Here’s an example of what I mean with regards the paint jobs, sorry for the GW orks, but I don’t have any super mutants yet
It’s pretty much there for a match, Maybe a very watered down yellow to get the match exact
