I’m new to A-C and loving the concept and production! I’m hoping to GM A-C for an upcoming gaming weekend. The players will be experienced RPGers but most will be new to 2D20.
I’d like to run Among the Wolves using the basic rules, but I am concerned if it can fit into a 4-hour time slot. Can someone who has run this comment on the run time?
I suppose I can have contingencies to streamline scenes to stay on time if things run long.
After reading through the adventure completely (skimming in places) this looks like a 2 or 3 session module to play thoroughly. I’ll look at some of the other modules available to find one that will fit within a 4-hour slot, allowing time for learning rules, etc.
I ran this last Friday with 4 experienced roleplayers but all (including me) were new to AC. Started properly about half 7, called it at half 10 and they’d just got to the church.
Would say 2 sessions at a push though closer to 3, though my players were doing stuff not taken into account like exploring solo and splitting up at the square into 3 groups.
One thing you can’t plan for is the players actions!!
