Tell me your tales

What are the adventures you’re running for Cohors? I know the adventure book is due out shortly for backers. But I’m curious for those off the beaten path scenarios. My Prefect pledge arrived over the weekend and I am currently cooking up something to unleash upon my table.

I gave my players 2 options:

Whispers in Larium
Life on the frontier is never dull—especially when things start getting weird. The people of Larium are on edge. Their goats are disappearing, eerie lights flicker in the forests, and something very unsettling has been happening to the local bathhouse water. Some whisper of spirits, others claim it’s just barbarian tricks. But no one seems to have a proper explanation, and more importantly—no one wants to investigate.

The Eagle in the Dark
The Ninth Legion marched into the mists of Caledonia—and never returned. Their banners were torn, their warhorns silenced, their fate swallowed by time and terror. Now, Rome demands answers. The Eagle of the Ninth, symbol of imperial might, remains lost beyond Hadrian’s Wall, and whispers speak of unnatural forces keeping it hidden.

They chose to go with The Eagle in the Dark. Following the Legion North and learning along the way that it’s commander appeared to have been ensorcelled by a strange Egyptian priest.
Much hijinks ensued, leading to the discovery of a portal to the Plataea of Leng and a desperate attempt to seal it once a Shoggoth was unleashed.

It was a good group at my FLGS for this one. More willing to play into it than the current player in my WFRP game. But when you run for teenagers you can get wild swings at time.

Those are both great. If presented, my table would split. I have some Combat Goons that would love the Eagle North due to “There will be more ■■■■ to kill there”. Whereas the ones who thrive on puzzles and mysteries would choose the other. I like both of them.
