Just wondering as living in Australia there’s no shipping option for a physical product and one of the distributors has no info on such as yet out here: would the price be less for a digital only product, and is such available?
Or is the price as listed for the digital product as well because I would like to own this ASAP.
Probably you need to wait for printed Technical Manuals to reach regular shops (now we are at the preorder phase), then Modiphius should make pdf-only orders available. They did so with other suplements.
PDFs are usually available for about £15 for full size books. The physical (+PDF) is usually around £45, so they are substantially cheaper.
PDF-only is normally only available for purchase when the product is released. They allow pre-orders for physical early (and release the PDFs to those who pre-order) in order to get a bit of cashflow earlier, but most likely to help them manage print runs more accurately. If something is a surprise hit, they’re likely to get a lot of pre-orders and so know to print more.
Standalone PDFs go on sale once the physical preorders ship. It’s the way Modiphius has done it for at least as long as I remember for this line.
PDF by itself will go on sale on the webstores and DTRPG when the print edition releases in early June.
