@Caranfang In principle, I concur. Yet, Modiphius’ announcement is open enough to be both interpreted as announcing a new edition of the existing game OR announcing an entirely new game. Both concepts are known to be described as “a new edition”. 
Also, the boundaries of both concepts are blurred, to say the least.
