Rune - when i roll skill dice ? When casting and puting on the ground or when it is triggered ?

According to the rules, page 44, beginning of the TARGETING TYPES section, casting a spell, in this case a rune, first rolls the skill dice, and when the runes trigger, then the damage dice.

Sorry for the delay. We’ll be folding this into the upcoming rulebook refresh.

For the time being, go with @stHonor’s suggestion - roll the Skill Dice when placing the Rune down and then the Damage Dice when the Rune is triggered.
