Q'plah! A new addition to STA is coming

Ouch. That hurt. :frowning:
Yet, while I should challenge you to a fight to the death in, say, potatoe-eating-competitions or so to restore my spoiled honour, I shall simply hang my head in shame.

Eating is full-contact-sport for me, so you should choose another contest but my comment was not meant to hurt, my sincerest apologies.

Don’t worry. I was just keeping up my “yo Krauts, just don’t german around here”-attitude.
I’m actually a bit glad that I’m so iconic but would never admit.

Regarding the PDF: I can’t wait, too. Probably the delay is that release is scheduled only for friday and Modiphius has to wait until that day or so?

Also: Any news on Klingon Dice? And the Klingon Campaign? Christmas is on the horizon…

Klingon dice news coming soon. I don’t know what you speak of regarding a Klingon campaign, though. Some standalone adventures in the works, as well as an option to use the Shackleton Expanse setting with Klingons, but no specific Klingon-oriented campaign.

Oh, sorry, yeah, I meant this. I probably confused it with the Shakleton-Campaign. I’ll ask about that in a separate thread.

Can you tell us how many standalones are there in the works?

Updated Klingon Core pdf has some new amazing images, they all have strong klingon vibe

I am happy now.

I’ve commissioned several and have a couple of them in development now. We’re on track to release a new standalone every month in 2021, a mix of Starfleet and Klingon.

Friends don’t let friends think about Eden.

That’s sadly so true. Sad because I liked several of their game lines, and found Unisystem to be both simple and fun to play, from fluffy cinematic pieces like BtVS/Angel to crunchy classics like Conspiracy X 2e. Really, the only one of theirs that never grabbed me was their (rather popular) zombie line (AFMBE).

@Modiphius-Jim Please tell me that the author of “The Ballad of the Invasion” on p. 22 has at least a basic grasp of German. Or tell me they don’t. It’s hilarious and I love it, either way.

Checked with the author and they have no idea what you’re referencing. My German is super rusty, so whatever you found got past us. Enjoy, I guess?

Oh yes!

“Kopf” is the german word for “head” and “Kram” is one of the possible translations for “stuff”.

To me this reads like: “…by head, son of stuff”.

It’s very easy to enjoy me, my humour is so simple.

(The thing about the light bulbs is still true, though.)

That said… tlhIngan Hol has no voiceless labiodental affricate (the ‘pf’ sound), so the more accurate version of that name would be qopIv, son of Qam (or “Qam puqloD”, in the proper Klingon).
