Might not be for everyone, but the Deadlands Classic system (available on DriveThru) is bloated, messy and fun. There’s simplistic joy in rolling a handful of dice (that explode) and taking the highest. I know PEG have moved on to Savage Worlds but that system has experts failing too often for my liking.
