Dwarven Ballista's slow to fire

How does the Dwarven Ballista’s slow to fire special rule work?

Hey Siroj55

Slow to fire is covered on page 77 of the core rulebook. Adversary versions of the rule replace using one stamina to remove the token with using the Adversaries one Boost per turn instead.

page 77 slow to fire “During the model’s Activation, it may remove the token as a Special Action, at the cost of 1 Stamina.”

When would it do this Special Action?

Hey @Siroj55

@Modiphius-Gavin has the right idea. Slow to Fire is covered on page 77 of the core rulebook and Adversaries would be able to remove the token by using up their Boost for the turn, as Adversaries can’t use Stamina.

As for when they would do it, they have two potential points they could do it;

1 - If they have not used their Boost for the turn, they may clear the Slow to Fire token right after using the weapon.
2 - If they have used their Boost for the turn, they would clear the Slow to Fire token at the start of the next time they take an Action.

Thanks!

So if I understand it correctly, it will try to remove the Slow to Fire token as soon as possible by ‘paying’/using up its once per turn boost.

Exactly right!

Thanks, that clears it up.
