Not sure if this has been covered- the rules explicitly state that courage is static soak, but morale is variable and dice. However assassin says it grants +2 dice of courage. Is this an error?
I would assume it’s a minor slip-up in terminology, yes. A similar thing happens in the General talent (page 91) where it mentions the retinue consists of Elites. However, such types of NPC are called Toughened in the Conan RPG instead. (They’re called Elite in the Infinity RPG however.)
As the rule clearly references dice by their proper symbol, the intent is clear.
