I’d like to get the PDF today, but I only want to get a physical special edition if that’s coming. Is it coming?
They usually announce them with the product itself, I believe. So I’d say no. I would say that if you buy the PDF, they normally give discounts anyway so no harm buying the PDF then getting the collector’s edition if it comes out, but you can’t buy PDF-only until they release anyway.
In short, I doubt there’ll be a collector’s edition, but of you’re waiting for PDF-only, then you’ll know for sure before it comes to handing over the cash anyway.
No special cover for the Technical Manual, just the standard art version.
