The double use of “their” has me confused here. Who is using whose presence attribute?

The person being assisted may use the Bolian’s Presence instead of their own.

So it should be read as if it were “Whenever the Bolian is assisting another character, that character may use the Bolian’s Presence Attribute instead of their own.”
