So explain to me how damage actually works in a campaign

A bizarrely complicated system (3 damage point pools + 3 categories of effects/afflictions) that seems to offer some interesting roleplaying opportunities. But I need to see some extended examples or live play of it in action.

The game system really isn’t all that complicated. As for the three types of damage that one can take, those are covered quite nicely on page 66 of the Core Rulebook.

I actually mentioned to Jack Norris the idea of doing up some samples of combat for the game and posting them to a Download section somewhere, so that matter is being looked into (I hope).

I also know that our Jeddara, Virginia, posted up an entire game session of JCoM RPG play somewhere, but can’t for the life of me find the link. Perhaps she’ll pop in here. :slight_smile:

Something I’d love to see is a discussion of sequences from Burroughs’ novels, discussing how they involve the various types of damage.

I agree that would be interesting, but I’m not the one to do it. All of my Barsoom novels are currently in storage. :slight_smile:
