What’s rank in talents?
i.e. Acute Senses (Observation Talent) has “maximum rank: 3” and states that you gain Momentum " equal to their ranks in Acute Senses"
Is it the expertise in the related skill?
You can take this Talent several times. Each time it costs the same amount of XP.
At Rank 1 you gain 1 Bonus Momentum.
At Rank 2 (that means, you have taken the Talent two times) you gain 2 Bonus Momentum.
At Rank 3 (that is, if you have taken the Talent three times) you gain 3 Bonus Momentum.
This is independent of your Skill Rank in Expertise or Focus.
(Although some - if not most - Talents require a certain minimum Expertise Rank to even obtain the Talent - this is the Prerequisite listed with each Talent).
