So just starting out a game, we are all in person and using minis. How do people normally set up zones? I have a chessex battle mat I can use but I also have a ton of wargaming terrian I would like to use. How do people mark zones on a map or terrian? I was thinking maybe thin painters tape for the terrian and markers on the chessex mat. I play FWW and the rules make it easy to use all sorts of themed mats and terrian but the zones require markings. just wonder how people do that?

I just draw them out freehand though the painter’s tape idea is pretty great
