For those that didn’t know. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan the Director’s Cut will be back in theaters on September 4-8, 2022 as part of TCM’s Big Screen Classics for the 40th anniversary of the film.

Motion Picture was on last week as well (at least in Vue UK). Much fun
Yeah Director’s Cut of TMP is on Paramount+ for the moment as well. Much fun indeed. Much more fun will be had once TWOK gets there too.
This also happens to link up with National Cinema Day in the UK this saturday. £3 a ticket seems very worth it to me, if you are able to get a seat!
Sa it last night. If you haven’t seen it Ben Mankiewicz, of TCM, after the credits roll and they show the an image of advertising the new video release of the film talks about Spock’s death and some of the things that happened when it got leaked out that Spock was going to die in the film. Half the people in the showing was at left before this as they didn’t think they would have anything after the credits.
Also, when waiting for the film to start they had some Wrath of Khan trivia questions in the pre-movie ads, etc. that played about 20 minutes before the film’s show time. Those were at between 6:40 m to 7:00 pm at the 7:00pm showing I went to.
