Oh, was there ever an ‘official’ response to the odd fact that careers such as Hacker and Interventor get access to Observation skill rather than Analysis, the latter being much more useful to careers specialising in hacking and data work?
I would probably house-rule that they can choose between Observation and Analysis, or even that those careers with Hacking as a Mandatory Skill get Analysis instead of Observation, but I was wondering if there had ever been anything ‘official’.
(My guess would be that it might be due to a late addition of Analysis to the skill roster, after the career outlines were drafted, but it does still seem a little odd.)
