How do you handle multiple simultaneous Timed Tasks?
In Rescue at Xerxes IV (core book) there are possible 3 timed tasks going on at the same time. Each of them say there is only 15 intervals until the storm hits and any action on them takes 2 intervals. Is it even possible to do all 3?
No, there’s not enough time to do all three tasks all at once (though a character can spend Momentum to reduce the time taken on a task), but characters can split their efforts.
Essentially, each interval just represents an amount of time something takes to do, and it’s simple enough to track separate activities simultaneously, and use that to restrict who can work at what (because each character can only really work on one thing at a time).
