A question has come up regarding the Calculated Shot talent on the pre-generated character sheet for the Thoughtful Green Martian Guide.
The talent states: “You may always use Reason to attack with a firearm in ranged combat.”
However, page 63 of the rulebook says: “while Cunning + Reason is more common in shooting-based attacks.”
I understand this implies there are exceptions where ranged attacks do not use Cunning for their rolls. But is that the case, or does this talent have other implications I’m missing? (One of my players believes this talent allows using Cunning x2 for attack rolls, which I don’t think is correct.)
